Farm Sanctuary's California Shelter
Our 300-acre Northern California farm sits on the eastern foothills
of the coastal mountain range near Orland. We are across the street
from the Black Butte Lake and recreation area, 10 minutes west of Interstate
5. The farm is 30 miles west of Chico, and 100 miles north of Sacramento.
Our California visitor center includes educational displays, a cruelty-free
gift shop, and a beautiful outdoor pavilion.
Tour Times
The California Shelter is open to visitors every Saturday from April
through November. Tours are held every hour on the hour from 11
a.m. until 3 p.m.
Prices
Adults: $2
Children under 12: $1
Children 3 and under: Free
Group Tours
Farm Sanctuary also offers special group tours for 10 or more people.
If you would like to arrange a special tour with your school group,
environmental club, Girl Scout troop, or other group, please call
530-865-4617 to set up an appointment.
